A friend of mine knew that i was interested in Godbud as it is supposed to grow great for my area so sent me some seeds. The only problem is whatever I have is now flowering in my veg room. Somehow I got a full package of auto-flowerers  so i have no idea what seeds I am growing.
I also got the original blueberry and am not too sure about them either now.

I am not very impressed with these guys so far but I also did not see this forum until now.
Gosh. Its shocking:eek:

Ya that Lowryder is popping up in lots of strains and wrecking them in my opinion.

I know some people depend on AF for a reliable outdoor harvest but I avoid them like the plague and I think you know why.

The bad part is if you order from BCBD you either dont get any seeds or you'll,more then likely, get some other strain. I remember a few years back BCBD donated some Godbud seeds to be raffled off and was told by the person who won 3 packs that all 3 pack were differant strains,I thought that was really bad that they couldnt even get it right when they donated them, lol. You might end up with a good strain out of them.I had a accidental seeding that devistated me but kept the thought that there might be a one of a kind jem in one of those seeds.I used to hate these auto's but this has changed. This year a friend sent me some auto flowering seeds to try as he kept saying how impressed he is and that you wouldnt be able to tell that it was an auto,I kept calling B.S on him and he proved me wrong. There are quite a few autos that are not where near good but they are giving others a bad wrap. I had a friend come visit for a few weeks and I got him to try some,we smoked some white widow and some of the auto ak47XdieselRyder and after smoking the two joints he thought the widow was the auto cause like me he thought theres no way and auto can be that good and strong,They actually looked like mini deisel plants, lol.

I don't know how to multi quote so will just reply in one post.
I'm not really sure how to feel about this. Its actually a bit embarrassing to have a well known canadian seed company give such shabby service.
Its terrible actually.
Canada DOES have some GREAT genetics out there :D and to have a company such as this representing 'this' is extremely disappointing.

Now about the auto flowerers. This is the very first one I have ever had in my entire life.
A while ago while ready to top my roadrunner (freebie from attitude) , I noticed her flowering:eek: It took me back a bit as i am not used to seeing this. I've never even considered adding an auto flowerer to my strain list as I've seen no use for them really. I've known some others who prefer auto flowers as an outdoor plant but I have never had the opportunity to really try this out.
I'm sure there are a lot of good choices to make but I sort of prefer to pick short flowerers over auto ones.

Now growing auto-flowerers in my veg room is something really different BUT , like I mentioned, I DO NOT have any experience with this.
Here is what i am thinking:

I have a bunch of different strains all growing ina large veg room. I'm topping them and looking for suitable mothers (six) to put as an outside grow, since this is my limit. Growing the autoflowers gives me some bud to give to my patient and myself while these others are getting bigger.
I'd much rather have bigger plants, than more of them.
Of course I saw no reason to top or clone any of these.
If the clones are the same age as the mothers, then what would be the advantage?
ALSO are all auto'flowerers feminized? It would seem a bit pointless to grow a bunch of auto flowerers if they weren't or am I missing something?

Yes I am very inexperienced in this regard.

So in other words......

Chuch them OR

Keep them?

Thanks again guys
Much appreciated:D

There's the problem with most of the companies out there after a while customer service goes out the window. Getting orders mixed up is pretty amateur in my book. I'm thinking what may have happened is that they ran out of the seeds you requested and figured.... ah they won't know the difference and substituted. Good for them, they made the sale, crappy for you... but the best thing that can come from this is that you inform the public so that either they fix the problem or lose revenue until they realize what they've done.

Canada has plenty to offer, sorry you got ripped! We're not all that way, I assure you.

Getting orders mixed up is very bad business.
I can understand human error. We all make mistakes, but if this is happening consistently, then there is a HUGE problem and they just happen to send the wrong seeds out to the wrong chick:mad:

heehee.....I'm actually not THAT pissed just more disappointed that this was a Canadian seed company. I'm a PROUD canadian and want to do Canada PROUD so growing crappy seeds from Canada doesn't set very well with me.:o

I sure hope it didn't seem like i was knocking all canadian seed businesses.
Of course there are a lot of good ones out there; its just when you hear of a large well known company like BCBD, you'd think they would be more professional.
They're NOT!

Anyway, thanks again for the comments Black Rain.
What about Red Rain.....Peter Gabriel sings about it;)

I'm sure they figure they're above that lol. Nah you didn't knock the seed bus. I love to hear about these huge places that have 200+ strains and still charge out the ass. They buy at wholesale and double profits, arggg part of the reason we started our own genetic pool.

LoL Red Ra1n,,, ahh I've had this handle since the Legend of The Red Dragon days with a 14.4 modem lmfao.

Exactly, someone from a little Depot filled with Hemp in just dropped a pack of LUI in the mail for me about an hour ago :D

Go Ontario!

I think beginner growers choose auto strains because they're afraid of screwing it up and think that an automatic plant will guarantee a harvest. There's a surprising amount of stress revolving around simply not lighting plants for half the day. I do understand the idea of outdoor harvest in July but I'm a clone addict so you'll never see me with autos. It's like fem seeds, perfect for certain growers but not for me.

Amen brother! I actually got a chance to try some autos and can atleast say they grow well. Sour bubble ryder x Blue streak, I got to say I actually still pushed them into flower, in my bloom tent. It was more of a stress issue than anything. One of them is growing in a nice fat cola with two balls right at the bottom...kinda funny really. and the other short with lots of small budsites. compared to the growth I got from my other seeds I will not be using AF's again. Wait! I should take that back, they are probably great plants to put outdoors if weather permits and you have decent light. That would be the only way I would run them again, under HID for veg until sign of flower, then outdoor to finish off strong under strong natural light and using no space inside. For a traditional seed to harvest schedule I will stick with standard M/F seeds, Fem'd beans are great but I dont want to deal with any abnormalities or picky plants in general.

Ok thanks guys.
This makes perfect sense to me also
I'm into cloning so an auto-flowerer is basically a waste of time and space for me BUT i have to admit that the roadrunner(autoflowerer) is a nice strong plant with bluish green foliage. It was a freebie and I kind of forgot it was an auto until I saw it one day, and THEN i remembered:rolleyes::p

So tonight I stayed up half the night and switched around my grow rooms and now I am cutting all my BCBD strains, sense they are too unpredicatable.
I can';t afford to grow strains i don't know. Auto flowerers might be great for some because they are quick to flower but quick isn't always better:cool:
I really can't afford to have these kind of mistakes happen
