The Opium War Museum is located in Humen town, Dongguan City, Guangdong Province.

Covering an area of 800,000 square meters, the museum exhibits important historical items including 141 relics, 130 historical photos, 19 diagrams, and 12 large-scale paintings which vividly portray the first Opium War scene in 1838. It is the spot where Lin Zexu, who was a Chinese scholar and official during the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) had opium destroyed and where the Humen fortress is located.

The United Kingdom of Great Britain would not be half so great if not for all the silver they bled out of China in exchange for chests full of opium.

For shame on those bastard politians and their f*cked up judaeo christian 'morals' for subjugating a country with hard drugs.

I've read some of the Members of Parliaments words as they tried to cynically give reasons for the continuation of the trade and I shudder and feel shame that my country ever did such a thing.

They were basically saying if the Chinese didn't get it from them they'd get it from elsewhere, that's it,period, that was their moral justification :(
