I've tried growing a couple packs of his mango, but same thing happened to me as everyone else. low germination rates, 2 or 3 of 10 would germ, and no females. Just my personal experience, but many have reported the low germ rates.
Better to go with Nirvana for affordable beans, and btw their Papaya, said to be a knockoff of the KC Brains Mango, had a zero germination rate for me. This alongside another Nirvana strain called Chrystal that had 8 of 10 germ.

I've noticed that KC seems to focus on outdoor grows, I seem to remember reading that he breeds outdoor as well but take that as hearsay.
So what I'm getting at is that I think his genetics are geared toward the open sun and field, and as a result indoor grows suffer because the star performers were selected outdoor-friendly plants.
I've never tried any of his seeds but low germ rates are what he's known best for. I've also found a few growers that thought it was great and I'm inclined to think these people planted the beans outside where they performed as intended. If a seed takes two weeks to pop then this delay could save it from drowning in the mud outside, but would also get it tossed for not germinating in time indoors.
I've heard of happily impressed customers of Leda Uno who state it's his best strain, but once again hearsay.
For best bang for the buck I think Mandala is a star choice, cheaper than the budget banks and landrace-infused for fresh genetic diversity not recycled from SK#1.
:p I tried Nirvana's Papaya, I got 10 identical spindly sativas from their "short greasy pure indica". I have no idea what it really was and it in no way resembled anything it was supposed to, but the low-potency high had absolutely no ceiling so hash from it was rather enjoyable. That was the last time I shopped at a knockoff bank but in all fairness I started two of their Snow White and they're not doing too bad.. they don't resemble each other aside from smell and Nirvana-Skunk flower structure but I'll still smoke 'em :D

I tried leda uno... it was alright. nice flavor and big yielder but only so so in potency so it got dropped in the long run... kinda disappointing really as the pic in the MJ growers handbook looks so great... mine looked like this pheno and not the one in the big book of buds.

thanks for the feedback. I was actually lookin for a good outdoor strain so thats why i was checking KC out but if there have been that many problems with germ rate a sex ratios I think i'll stay away.
And actually mandela seeds s another i've been checking out. So I think i'll go with Mandela #1.

I have tried alot of KC strains...only smoked never grown them myself always from outdoor organic farms in northern cali. Leda uno was great and it had no resemblance to that pheno Pflover got. As the seasons have gone on I have tried a few of their strains and now their crosses. Most notably the mango and the Leda uno, KC33 had a good buzz but I remember not being to pleased with it just can't remember why, white KC and sweet dreams were actually pretty good strains for headaches and minor pain.

4 popped out of 5, 2 were mutants, 2 were female and very different from each other.
Don't rule them out completely, they sell for 15 bux equivalent in Europe. 50 bux here is maybe a bit rich, but it beats some other prices.
