Legendary singer and an angel of a man died the other day, He will be missed and praised for decades to come.

I cannot but help think that Cannabis as a medicine could have eased his pain from stomach cancer, helped him eat and made his last few years better overall.
Have no doubt Ronnie is singing with the creator!
Don't want to start music argument here of course but I feel he was one of the best metal vocals to ever grace the stage.
one of my favs..

A sad day indeed.
I remember picking up the first Sabbath album and hearing it cranked up in my living room. What a talent. He will be missed but well remembered.

about rjd being one of the best vocalists. I saw him at old exhibition stadium
for lock up the wolves tour. The music was great accompianment to the spectacular lightening show that kept striking CN tower. To me Sabbath was Ozzy singing although heaven & Hell is greatest non Ozzy Sab album. I cant think of any better voice Paul Rodgers would have to be second. Almost
as shocking as when Bon Scott took the highway to Hell.

WELL the HOLY diver has parted the water for the last time.. DIO was a great guy and a troubidor on stage.. he put it all out on stage. I seen him live with sabbath and solo.. he was great...sad day for sure..
But as far as great non ozzy singers go IAN GILLIAN has to be second for me..BORN AGAIN is a great album.. But DIO was incredible on MOB RULES and HEAVEN AND HELL

Saw him in Oakland back in the 80's.....R.I.P.
Never got the chance to see him live, but he had one hell of a razor-edged voice in the studio.

especially when it was blackmores rainbow where I first realized Dios great talent. David coverdale had good vocals for whitesnake & coverdale/page.

Yeah ronnie`will be greatly missed...I have`seen him numerous times...both with sabbath and his many solo tours...definitely a voice that will be missed in the rock-n-roll world.....may his family find the peace which Ronnie has found...with out the suffering that bought about his departure from this world....another great talent which has joined the line up in a very special after life band...which will rock the after life :)
