Now we don't punish the kids; we feed em Ritalin and let them stand themselves in the corner.

Peace

I think that alot of TYers are missing the boat on this one.

Fish oils don't contain half the omega 3 of HEMP SEEDS/HEARTS or, for that matter HEMP OIL.

Not only that but HEMP and NO fish contain all the essential building blocks for cell health and development.

In terms of its nutrient content, shelled hemp seed is 34.6% protein, 46.5% fat, and 11.6% carbohydrate (Table 1). The most important feature of hemp seed is that it provides both of the essential fatty acids (EFAs) needed in the human diet--linoleic and alpha-linolenic acid--as well as a complete and balanced complement of all essential amino acids.*

I do know what I am talking about after 13 years of Biosciences.

What LEQ says!

I do the hemp seed oil and hulled hemp seeds in a smoothie every morning,
with a banana, a kiwi, blueberries, and some water I get at a country spring a 15 minute drive away (my family and I don't drink chlorine). I recommend it to anyone.

Another seed that works well is Flax Seed. It is very inexpensive compared to hemp seed. I grind it in my little multi purpose coffee grinder. I mix it with ground hemp seed and put it on my cereal, with soy milk, or in smoothies. We have substantial patches of blueberries, raspberries and blackberries in our yard so we add them in.

We are on a well. It's in granite country and has a bit of iron in it but tastes pretty good. Not as great as where I lived last with a deep well into limestone. Man that water was as cold and crisp as I've ever tasted.

Oh, and watch those springs. We had one in the last municipality I was in that people swore by. Everytime we tested it it had e-coli and other coliforms.

Here's a good site for Nutrition data sheets.

Good advice!
