what do you think will change, if anything at all, for people who are on federal probation, and therefor arent allowed to use medical cannabis, if prop 19 passes in california???

I don't really know if I understand what you are asking? " Prop #19," I think, is a vote for marijuana's legal or illegal status. California is along way from where I live (Canada) but I wish the "pro" force's all the best of luck.

I don't understand the politics in your state.

From where I'm sitting...I see the situation as....if a person has a police record should that person still be able to get the medice they need?...when you look at it that way a "yes" answere seems obvious, I would think.:)

saddly this is not the case. medical marijuana is not recognized by federal government. and thus a person on federal probation (or supervized release) cannot use cannabis; weather it be for medical, religulous, or any other reason. my question comes down to this: if prop 19 were to pass, would the feds finally stop wasting money and time keeping people on probatoin from using cannabis? or will they hold there stance and say that even though the state said californians can legally use cannabis, they (the federal probation office) will not allow it?

If Prop 19 passes and the Feds follow, I wonder if there will be any retrospectivity to the legislation.
Good question Yrekagrow
