Iranian Autoflower Review in Skunk Magazine?

It seems there's a lot of controversy (to put it mildly!) surrounding grow reports of Doc's gear on the various forums. I'm just wondering if anyone here read the recent review of the Iranian Autoflower in Skunk Mag, and could summarize what it said (esp. regarding yield, potency, etc.).

I think a few members have grown this strain but i dont think its an automatic strain just a very fast flowering strain.from the little i have seen its a good producer in a very fast time.

Im sure someone else will be able to tell you if this is an automatic strain(a strain which will flower under any light sheduel)or if the iranian autoflowering strin is just a quick finisher.

i read somewhere , one of the dozens of forums , that it will veg under constant light , but will flower under more then the normal 12/12 , was maybe even 20/4 or 18/6 , sorry i cant remember exactly , if i run across the grow report again ill copy n paste it

I actually have 6 of his Iranian auto flower,I will be starting them soon,just to see what all the fuss is about,I have smoked plenty of middle eastern cannabis,its killer,so the 420grower will get to the bottom of this controversy,ha,ha,peace all

remember the constant light 420 ,,, ive searched youtube on this and seen lots of ppl cloneing this strain :eek:

Yes the strain(iss) is clone able,24 hrs of light to hold veg,HID or t8 not sure on light strength maybe a T5 will do it

If this was a true auto flowering strain would you not be able to take cuttings from it?.from the little i know about automatics they cant be cloned & all contain the ruderalis gene.does anyone know the make up of the iranian auto syrain.

This would be a very interesting strain to grow just to see if it does act like other auto strains (flowering under 24/0 lighting or 18/6)& if it can actually be cloned.

Im looking for some now & i too will see if this is a auto strain or just a fast flowering strain.

this is why i call it a semi autoflowering strain , every youtube video ive seen say it veges under 24/0 , but flowers soon as you drop , i believe at 18/6 it will flower

a semi auto such as that would be great , could clone the hell out of it :p then still have moms and other strains vegging in the same room with lights dropped down to 18/6 :D

i seen some very very nice yeilds from it on youtube too :cool:

I'm totally interested also.
Plus any type of auto-flowerer is usually great for added inconspicuous outdoor growing. You're guaranteed meds with no worry about time contraints, PLUS it helps gain an advantage over rippers, as they are generally out at the end of a growing season.

I had something that i got from a seed company, that wasn't an autoflowerer, per say, but did start flowering all on its own with no change in lighting. It was supposed to be Godbud.
All 6 of them did. Under other conditions i would have kept at least one of them, if ony for pure interest.
They grew REALLY fast and that was under 18/6.

I've also done a pure autoflowerer under 18/6 which was totally cool to watch.
Plus it was really nice have a treaty treat to have while waiting for the others to flower.

Anyway, I'd LOVE to find a strain just like this.
A larger version of an auto flowerer.
I really like the idea of an auto-flowerer but I've gotta admit that most of the ones I have tried have been really disappointing yield wise.
If i am going to grow plants, i like to make it worth my while at least.

wow a whole page worth of posts and no one bitched about the price (yet) LOL ...very impressive ppl.
Beware....The Iranian and apparently anything crossed with it is VERY nute sensitive. Doc says to keep the ppm at around 800.
