My wifes daddy just died yesterday morning after breakfast. He had been in a nursing home for a few years now .Last week they had to amputate his left leg because of ganggreen so he was in terrible pain .He was 84 years old and a good father-in law to me. He was a alchoholic so I think he understood me better than my own dad did. Say a prayer if you can for Uncle Bud [thats what everyone called him.] thanks oj

Condolences. 84 years is a good run. The pain he was in is over now. As long as you and your wife remember him, he isn't gone.
