I've got two distinctly different phenos of Cannatonic growing on right now, nearing day 40 into flowering. I wanted to share a few observations of the phenos as they finish up.
One pheno has a strong-ish mint/citrus smell with some skunk undertones, grows vigorously, has heavy trichomes.
The other pheno has very little smell, is starting to develop purplish tinged leaves, and has no visible trichomes yet. This one grows less vigorously than the other pheno, but it still grows very well.
I've read about there being 4 distinct phenos of Cannatonic, but after seeing some of the lab results on the Project CBD website taken of different samples of Cannatonic, and noticed what seemed to be more variation than that, although they could be roughly categorized into 4 general types.
I did notice one sample that had negligable THC levels <2% but had CBD levels nearing 20%, and wondered if perhaps that could be my mysterious purple-no-trich pheno?!?
Anyone else with any info that they can share on this?
Skunk-Mad: I read your super informative post on another site about the phenos you had. It really helped me identify characteristics to look out for in the different phenos.
Looking forward to finish these up, cure them and give them a test.
