I was checking the news about Cuomo trying to get 26grams or less done away with and i saw to my dismay that NewJerseys Assembily has passed a law making about too " Cuomo’s initiative would put New York among more than a dozen states that have taken similar action, including California and Connecticut. A bill that would decriminalize possession of 15 grams (0.5 ounces) or less of marijuana was approved by a New Jersey Assembly committee last month"
So maybe we should do some more research about this and see if its true that would be great as iam a hour and half from the casinos and iam in need of something that i know will work and help me too get off ALL of the pills and i mean lotsa and lotsa pain pills!
And if NY can get it done i will be one of the 1st to get a card or whatever it takes !!! I wish that the peps in charge would see how futile the battle with these Mexican cartels is as they have the MONEY equal too and maybe even more than some of the states that are in the camp for small amounts of decriminilization. And it does help me after more than a decade of pills i know what helps and what does not!!! Heres too all of us who keep on keepin on! Oha Wasta

I was sent this and wanted to pass it along. Here's the comments:

"reports from the care center in nj are claiming .... 110 a quater plus 7 percent tax on that ... and the quality is garbage from what i've heard. So there ya have it Jersey 120 for a q of schwag at your "compassionate care facililty" ...did anyone mention this is the only care center up and running and is owned by an ex police officer."

What's that about 26 or less in NY?

Currently 25g and under is the first level, a violation with a fine and a court charge of an astounding $100 or so. It's decriminalized, which many people mistake the meaning of and think that decrim means legal whereas it simply means you don't get arrested, only cited.

Last I read Cuomo was against a med law, calling it "too dangerous", so I was genuinely surprised when he pushed for gay marriage because I didn't think he was interested in anyone's rights.

Its is for New York City only as you might guess its really wierd here in this state its like NYC is a different state it has different laws in some fashions and they do not appy to the STATE!!???? LOL I keep hoping and i have already been told by my outside the VA doc that he would gladly write me up and with a smile on his face if for any reason to same my liver from all the morphine that languishes there for years!!
I hope this answers your ? about the 26grams law that is in effect as i write this and the rest i cant say what it is all i know is i cant get caught and dont wana get caught with anything thats gonna put me anywhere? Oha Wasta Namash

No problem.....just didn't want people clicking here to think one state's laws had anything to do with the other. I see there isn't a N.Y. forum so feel free to post away.
