we got to the hospital at 11.30 and they said the dr. was an hour behind. then two hours go by and they come and tell us that its gonna be another two hours. then we hear that at 3.00pm that they open the e.r. to emergency cases. sure enough they cancelled her back surgery until monday.
is that some b.s. or what. dr's overbooking surgery is not right to their patients and their familys. they live with this stuff every day...but the people going in for surgery are very nervous and with dreamgirl its been a rollercoaster of emotions. the dr. comes and tells us that its only happened two times in six years...yeah right....we seen four other people get rescheduled during our wait in just four hours.one guy there was being rescheduled for his third time, and that it happens so rarely that he says they dont make a stink about it...ok.i wonder if dr's have to take a coarse in college that teaches them look right into a persons eye and lie to them. so now we have to eat the rental car money, and the hotel money...and do it all over again on monday.
