Thanks again everyone. No more gloom, or I'll be depressed for way too long. Its hardest I think cause you say these things won`t happen, you never know. And we`re all around the same age, so it feels more immediate. No new updates yet. My friend has not recovered from the stroke. She is paralyzed, can`t see, may be able to hear, but is unlikely to come out of a coma. The family hasn`t yet made any choices regarding life support, and it hurts to hear this stuff about someone I know, but I knew what I would choose for myself before, and that hasn`t changed.

Bad news sucks, and I was really upset for some days, but I`m back, and I won`t let it make me depressed about living.

My girlfriend passed away due to an infection. It is unclear if she would have recovered from the stroke. Her parents were spared from having to make a decision regarding life support. The funeral was on Thursday. Thanks everyone for your support.
