So, I read somewhere once that it is possible to use the time coming out of winter to flower plants as well outdoors. I believe that the theory was to put the plants out in March I believe (checking with an hours of sunlight chart would help with this) and even though the days are getting longer, there is still less then 12 hours of sunlight a day.
So here's my question. The Winters are fairly temperate here, it usually doesn't get to freezing. If I veg my plants for a while, does anyone think that's it's possible to put them back outdoors and let them flower during the short days of Winter?
It does get cold here and the winds are fairly brisk. Maybe the temps get down into the 40's, but no frost. What do you think my chances are?
In any case, I believe that I'm going to try this with at least a few of the seedlings that I have going, so I'll report back on this in any event.
