Here are some photos of the 1930 Ford I drive in road rallies with the owner as Navigator - The Cobra limo is the only known one to exist, a fellow rally guy bought it off ebay out of Southern California for an undisclosed amount of money.460 Ford engine with 12 foot sidepipes and stereo from hell............The 1930 Ford 4 cylinder engine was originally capable of about 40 horsepower, this one, in full performance trim, is pushing about 110. When you add that to the weight of car being only around 1800 pounds, the power to weight ratio is good, and car accelerates much like motorcycle.
When you increase your velocity, it is good to start looking at the things which slow you down, so hydraulic "juice brakes" were added, and I can now stop almost as fast as I can take off. Now only if I could make it turn.........

Throw in a small rack n' pinion steering assembly and run it off one of the pulley's. Assuming you have the old std steering box. Dump the steering box, head down to the junker's for a pwr steering pump, just make sure the output is over 500 psi. Loop it to the 3 or 4 groove fan pully with hoses going to the R N' pinion. Only other prob I see are extra brackets to be made and the proper hose's. Might have to get them made up. But yes it can be done! Done wonders with what you have now, so I'm sure you guy's will figure it out.
Great pics dugster:) Thanks for sharin'
