Vanilla.
If a company makes a really good vanilla, then you can rest assured that the other flavors are good.
All the other stuff that they add can just mask bad ice cream.
I like Breyers and Ben and Jerry's.
After I'm past the Vanilla you can hit me up with a Chunky Monkey or something with Pralines. Slide a nice piece of pie underneath and I'm a happy camper.

CHOCOLATE....Pretty much any icecream with chocolate in it passes the grade with me...except if it has coffee, or mint in it.

We have one called Brownies on the Moon...very similar to the one Myst described...and of course Death By Chocolate...(now how can you go wrong with a name like that)...Now if I can't have chocolate I like a nice french vanilla or old fashioned vanilla.

Tasty thread...thanks...hugs Uni ;)

Chapman's Vanilla Ice-Cream Sandwiches

It's not a "premium" ice cream, but a perfect balance of chocolate wafer and ice cream filling. :)

i've got over a gallon in pints from ben and jerrys ;)

right now my favorite is a new flavor they put out, Dublin Mudslide, chocolate, fudge, and you can actually taste the liquor in it :D

i saw a show once on the food network about how they come up with the flavors for B&J, they just sit down and start mixing what sounds good then after its done they try and come up with a name that fits...the only step they left out on the show(which i'm sure they do) was, step 1, smoke a bowl...

Chocolate Fudge from Baskin Robbins. Sadly they closed their store here. No more chocolate fudge when I am sick. Sigh. Can't seem to find anything that tastes remotely close to it. It was my favorite. Now I just go thru the drive through at MacDonalds with the rest of the icecream ignorants.
