There was something posted today by a new 'Member' asking for people here to sell them any extra or unused opiates that people might have lying around the house.
Please, under no circumstances deal with this person.
I know that most people here are smart enough to know that, but I figured that I'd put the word out just to be sure.
Taking part of dealings like this can only jepordize TY, Marco and yourself.

Just the kind of thing LEO wants to see. Then TY is gone. We would then be labeled as a dope dealing site. Not to mention yourself as a dope dealer

Hopefully this will serve as a reminder for people to use good judgement and survey their environment with a critical, rational eye.

Why? I'll tell ya, because that is the difference between pure compassion and conditional compassion. That's is the difference between TY and the mass media.
I don't know jack about you, but if you were suffering terribly, and desperate, you could be sure I'd go to the end of the earth to improve your quality of living somehow. Now, would you accept my help with gratitude, or refuse it because you don't know me? Not coming on to you, just want to give you that to think about.
About this guy...who is he? Perhaps he's some snot nosed punk assed cretan, trying to exploit our resources. Perhaps it's Leo, playing on our caring ways. Perhaps it is someone who is suffering terribly and for whatever reason has no access to a doctor, or a health plan, or what have you.
My point is, before you go dissin the person, banning them, running them up a flag pole or otherwise demeaning them in a circus maximus, perhaps FIRST you should get the whole story. By these acts here, TY could very well be dousing the last hope of some suffering or dying sentient that is reaching out for compassionate help. Or not. At this point who knows? Let us not be so hasty with the clubs and torches.

That's right you don't know jack about me, so why dog on me :confused: I always help out the ppl i know or the ppl that have helped me out(i know what compassion is!!) :) But i'm not going to send someone some pills or something just cause they asked me too,but if you want to help the guy out giver ;) Just my 2 cents!

I'm not disagreeing that things must be dealt with. That one must be cautious. That one shouldn't send pharmas anywheres. GreenFlame, you did some homework; kudos, that's more than I did. It's just that, even in the worst scenario, we should remember loving kindness and compassion. To act from any other vantage, puts one at par with the antagonist. The flagrant show here is somewhat dispicable, regardless of the details of the scenario. In direct opposition to our mandate no? Not trying to change any views on this matter, just give pause to what is brewing here (read throng). You can be sure the powers that be will ban this user if need be, and so, what is the purpose of continuing the thread?
CE, I'm sorry you were offended by my response to your statement. To jump to where I'm "dogging you" is an untruth, you asked the question, I answered it. Your chosen stance successfully distracts you from getting the point. I'm sure you are a hell of a nice guy, on a path like the rest of us. It's all good, even the learning.

OK, let's all get along.
All Duck was doing was trying to remind us what compassion is and give some examples.
In this situation there was only one person wrong. The person that I wrote this post about. Everyone else was right in their own way.
And now that things seem to have worked themselves out here, this thread is offically closed.
