I have been away for a couple weeks due to internet payment issues  Anyway I thought Id share a couple pics of a new york city diesel clone that I got. I recieved it in mid november ,"I think", memory is fuzzy. I also recieved a williams wonder at the same time.

After I recieved them some of the leaf tips started turning brown, I believe they got too cold en route. I put them in solo cups and prayed. two weeks passed and not much took place. The first pic is from the 28th of november. When the new growth started about this time I fimmed the top.

Second pic is this morning.
I cannot believe the change in this clone in 11 days. The diesel has to be one of the fastest vegging plants. I havent seen anything like it, deffinetly not from an f2 seed. Heck its gonna overtake my northernberry seedlings in size and they sprouted two weeks before I got this bad girl. And she is starting to smell good. The NB's smell louder but the diesel has a distinct odor. Almost like deer urine and factory mixed if that makes sence?

Anyway thanks be to the people who grew the plants this clone descended from and to the one who had the cahones (sp?) to get it to me. You will see more of this one.

Pretty soon they are going to smell like an auto repair shop!

I never thought too much of Diesels till I grew some. Diesels have good medicinal qualities and a decent yeild. With good lights they are a snap to grow.

Enjoy your meds and welcome to "club diesel" :D

awwww what a cute puppy she is! :D

please cut ALL the brown spotted leaves of now and get them away from the rest of your grow. there is a very high potential of rust to be living in them. i'd hate to see the rest of your grow get infected with that.

hehehe the NYCD is showing great root growth as always :D

keep up the good work! :D

Just an update on the diesel and the wonder. I decided to do a scrog on the deez. This is because its a sativa dominant and will prolly stretch more than my northernberries, and the ww.I took a couple clones off of the diesel and will induce flowering when the screen hits 75-80% full. Im guessing it will be new years day. At that time I will pull the williams wonder out of the flowering room and take a few clones off her. All the clones will veg for a few weeks then fill the leftover flowering room from the removal of my northernberry males.I started giving them fish emulsion a couple weeks ago.(5-1-1) Bout all I can say.

Yeah I know my scrog is ghetto.

I think the williams wonder is the most beutiful plant I have grown. Cool growth and color and leaf shape. Almost dosent look like mj.

pic 1 diesel scrog, pic 2 williams wonder.

Here are some pics of my deez and my willy's. Day 13 of flower. I decided to take the screen of the diesel and do some lst. This thing wreaks and the smell isnt pleasant. No fruit here.I dont think most people would associate this smell with a growing mj plant. I know that I will have to thin out some of the smaller branches. The williams wonder is starting to take shape. This thing grew so crazy I wasnt sure what I was gonna get. Spindley stems mean im gonna ave to prop this girl up.

First three are the diesel. Second three are the willy.

Here they are at day 26 of flower. Buds are starting to form nicely. Trichrome production is starting to pick up. Smell isnt "that" bad yet. Camera was runnin low on batteries so I could only take a couple. Not the best pics. I noticed on these last two grows that it seems that buds really start to swell after the first calyx's produced mature and go unpollinated and theyre hairs turn brown. Am I putting two and two together or am I imagining things? Anyway this period of growth is pretty much just a waiting game. Kind of like visiting a ski resort in the summer. Nice views, but kind of boring.

Grasshopper I dont think the williams wonder would be a good scrog strain. I would say it is probly the perfect strain for sog plantlet style growth. Just my view.

First pick is the williams wonder, second pick is the deez.

i've gotton very good results with both those williams wonder and NYCD in my bonzai grows and they are not that different to scrog when it comes down to plant growth.

did you take any clones?

illin
01-26-2006, 04:30 PM
PF im not that silly. Yeah I took about six off each, all rooted, just to be sure I dont lose these genetics.

I wasnt saying it would be impossible to scrog the ww, but this one didnt grow verry fast in veg and the way the plant wants to form large cola's on the end of long spidly stems made me think scrog wouldnt be the best way to go with this plant. I dont know though. Im just growin bushes and will be happy with what I get.

pflover
01-26-2006, 04:37 PM
yeah it is a reasonably slow vegger but that grow patter you just discribed means that when you bend it out flat the stems stop being long and spindly but the fat buds at the tip still remain. ;) and there are a lot more "tips" when you spread it out. the NYCD on the other hand produces really good even growth all along it when you spread it out. makes it a deceptively FAT producer in that kind of garden.

hehehe very happy you took clones. share the wealth. ;)

Been about a week, thought Id update. WW is really starting to smell lemony. And the diesel is getting huge buds goin for such a small plant. Its probly about 12 to 14 inches tall. Its just a waiting game now. 3-4 weeks to go.

Diesel first williams wonder second.

Well these got done a little after my online connection went down and I didnt get to post the finished pics. Anyone care to guess why it turned that copper purple yellow color? I know some of you have this actual diesel in your collections, has it ever done this to you? I let it go 70 days. I didnt have the net to ask questions when it started turning. Id say it was probably a nute defficiency or natural maturation, heck I dont know...but id like to. So let me know so I know if I did something wrong. It didnt taste wrong I know that.

Oh I couldnt find a pic of the williams wonder
