When I was pretty young, my older sister used to take me on walks everyday. We had a special poem we would recite as we walked and I'll never forget it, as we would also act it out in our travels. It went like this--

Going on a lion hunt,
gonna catch a big one,
I'm not scared,
tall trees, long grass and look at those flowers!
OH! It's a river....(acting surprised)
Cant go under it, can't go over it, can't go around it, guess we're gonna have to go through it...(then we'd make sloshing sounds and pretend to wade through)

We'd do the whole thing again, several times through the walk, but each time we would encounter a different hurdle to overcome, from wild animals to mountains, those walks with my sister are a hi-lite of my youth and I'll never forget them.
