Well, this is the padded room. Good. 2 things just happened that make me paranoid. One is gahhh, another inspection, I thought I was done with these. Bah, I'll have to move the plants. The other is just a weird little ending to the day that could be all massive coincidences or not, which just makes my skin crawl. But I can check on that tomorrow. Or maybe later tonight, just to feel better.
hoping all is well in your world

gg, i have been going thru this for a couple months. first i moved all my plants almost 20 miles away. bought black bags big enough to put them in and moved over 40 plants half were 4 ft tall....PITA ...big time...then they put the place i am living in up for sale...cant keep moving them every time someone wants to look at this place whicjh is once a week at least. so what i been doing is waiting until an hour before they are supose to come in and wrap all the plants up in the bags and put them in a corner. tear down the lights and cover them up as well..also burn insense to cover the smell.....its alot of work doing it every week but ya gotta do what ya gotta do...wish ya luck.

slater: as a renter you have the right to schedule the open house tours for real estate, as the primary resident. set it up for once every 2nd saturday and that way you are back in control. without that agreement, they could show the house every day if they wanted and that would make your grow impossible. renters have more rights than they realize.

i think the only thing they have to do is give at least 24 hours notice. that would be nice to be able to tell them when to come.

Well, everything is too close to where the inspection will be. I'll have boxes of plants all over the place. And I need to clean up. Its just more work I was not anticipating. The good part - I'm vegging, and not flowering. At least you are getting 24 hour notice Slater. If they don't do that, don't let them in!

Slater,
Read your lease.
The 24 hour notice is meant to be for Inspections only.
Those inspections are supposed to happen a maximum of once a month.
You are allowed to enjoy your peace of mind in your house, even if you're just renting.
Otherwise, I could tell you every day that I'm coming to look at stuff tomorrow.
GG, good luck with yours. What gahhh?

Forget the Lease.......Read your city's / state's ordinances.
Most localities have tenants right's websites. Most leases are stock forms and may not even be legal where you live. The last place I lived had me taking a lot of crap that wasn't legal where I live. If the law is the same as your lease..great. if not, you and the landlord might want to come to a meeting of the minds...
Almost all states allow "Inspections for the Purpose of Sale" as often as needed, if "reasonable notice" - 24hrs. - is given. Any other countries...I don't know..

Gahh, is I paid for 2 (1 done 1 to go after 18 mnths) whole house inspections where they attach the blower to the door and suck all the air out! This one is an electrical inspection gratis, for an installation where this was never mentioned or I would have scheduled it in when the installers were here. Leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
