I started out growing finishing up with 5 gallon pots in the beginning. Now, a couple of years later, I find my pots getting smaller. It appears to me the small taller pots make my plants happy. I started a bunch a bag seed a couple of months ago and decided to double pot in 1 gal. They are in flower now. I did it this way to try and find a stain that was good and I would re-veg what I liked. This gave me more possibilities I thought.....but what do I know! Anyway, they are looking fantastic and I keep going smaller on my pots. I grow with dirt, give lots of light feeding with most every watering. (very light) . I veg only 4 weeks from seed and clones go right into flower after a couple of days adjusting to their dirt house. My question is.....do any of you grow in small pots? If so, what size...how you feed etc. I do LST and have maybe 20 plants under 2x400 hps. I am thinking of adding floros around the sides. I am considering 2 liter bottles, 1 plant per bottle with lst. What do you guys think?

I start them out in little 4 inch pots and move them to 1 gallon pots and then cut bottom off and double pot into a 3 gallon pot to finish. All organic soil mix with a little perlite. I light feed with just about every watering and flush alot.

dykster: I take clones off of all the females. that way if I luck into a spectacular plant I have her offspring ready for veg and don't have to waste all that time with revegging. plus you can pop clones into flower every two weeks with this method so you'll have a perpetual garden. because of my tolerance I have very seldom run the same plant more than once, bit I give the clones to others who benefit from it.

My better beans will get clones taken before flower. I had to start all over and I wanted some herb as quickly as possible. What's funny is that I took clones from a flowering girl and they rooted and did well. Yea, broke the rules but it worked. Ok...I am going to stay with my little pots.....My dream will be to have several moms to choose from and clone from.
