I was relieved to have found someone growing helpful strains, as my "supply" source that was more affordable than a dispensary was all Sativa, which absolutely does not help my pain. (I was gifted with about 1/4 of it, and it is of no use. Trying to figure out if the "sativa-ness" would come across the same in edibles.)

I finally called the woman to talk to her about getting more, and she came over to my house 10 minutes later.

She too has a chronic pain issue. She grows for a dispensary and for herself, but has committed to also supplying chronic pain patients.

She will not let me pay for medication. She will give me about half an ounce each month(which I know will make many of you laugh, but is a generous amount for me to use in a month!), the stuff from the bottom of her jars that are not pretty buds. (I use a vaporizer exclusively so I grind it up anyway)

She said that if I want to donate a little towards her electric bill she will accept that, but I will be her 4th and last patient she wants to help medicate, and she feels that it is her calling.

She left and I cried. I knew that there were true "caregivers" out there, but am pretty isolated socially and don't know people in the industry. I just feel very very blessed, honored, and thankful.

I told her that I dream of growing a small amount for myself, just to have a more complete connection with my medication. She said I can work in her garden any day I want. :)

So thanks for letting me gush here. My family is over it, and I really have nobody else to gush about this to in my life!
