Males have shown, females stunded?

that's supposed to be females stunted. i have 4 lifesaver plants. i've cut the lights and 2 have shown male, but the other two haven't really shown anything yet. they have some brachs showing but no hairs anywhere. can i safely assume that these 2 plants are female and it's just taking extra time for it to show? i really need to revert them and cut them up for cloning before they outgrow my box and that is coming up fast. it's been my experience that female plants take longer to show, have others noticed the same? also, i'm about to harvest others, should you cut the lights the day before you harvest? isn't that supposed to improve the smoke? thanks.

Cutting the lights before harvest doesn't improve the smoke it just finishes them faster. Don't assume that they are female just wait and see. They won't outgrow your box because after you clone from them they will be as short as you want them to be. Good luck with your grow and if you have any more questions, feel free to ask, my friend.

females take longer. bepatient. males develop alot faster and grow taller so that the pollen is ready and mature for the females when they are ready to recieve it and can be blown over there tops since cannabis is pollenated by wind.

you never said how long you have been waiting for them to express. some strains are just slow.

cutting the lights for a day will speed things up in finishing a little but as for improving the smoke well i personally have found there is little difference between harvesting just before the light comes on after a normal nights rest for the plants and harvesting after 24 hours of rest. i do however feel there is a difference between harvesting in the morning before the light comes and and harvesting in the evening at the end of a full day of light. light is the number 1 degrader of THC.
