    Default Fire In The Sky

Looked out the window and this is what I saw...the sky was on fire..from the Sun's passing light. Spring is here as the sky's get more spectacular every day...even the peeper's are singing again...sure sign that old man winter is heading to bed fo a long rest. Enjoy...Hugs Uni

I have wanted to move to Alaska for the longest time, for the Aurora Borealis and sunsets, and the ice covered mountains.... I like the extreme cold for some reason, not sure why, it makes my back and elbow ache big time,LOL.

You can always put on some more clothes!!! but in the heat you can only go so far!

After finding TY and seeing and hearing about places in Canada, I now have a desire to check out Canada as a possible place to live in the future... Nova Scotia, is now at the top of that list!! Hey Uni, need a new neighbor? LOL

Thanks again for the wonderful pics Uni Post some more if you get some more! lriv

oh great! now i read this!!

Sun, 11 Dec 2005 - For more than 400 years, the Earth's magnetic North pole was in a roughly stable position, but now it's on the move, having drifted nearly 1,100 km (680 miles) in the last century. At this rate, it'll move out of Canada, and into Siberia in the next 50 years. If that happens, Alaska and Northern Canada may lose the beautiful Northern Lights, which are caused by the interaction of the magnetic pole and the solar wind. It could be that this is a normal oscillation of the magnetic pole, or it might be that the Earth's magnetic poles are getting ready to flip.
    Just figures!!

Housing is real cheap here...Now I'm not sure if this will work, but here is a link for a search http://www.mls.ca/PropertySearch.asp...fAreaID%3d6262

This should put you searching in Hants County in Nova Scotia, that is the county we live in...put in a price and see what you get...we bought a 3 bedroom mansard (sp) style home on about 1 acre for $43,000...taxes are about $500 per year. Our mortgage is less than $350.00 per month.

Now this is an old pic, but this is across the road from our place. Its the waterfall Raton loves. Enjoy searching...Hugs Uni

Nice pics Uni thanks for sharing. I checked out the realestate link and I see what you mean about the low prices.

These are Canadian Dollars not US so for Americian buyers the prices should look even better!
Thank God we don't get all the Government we pay for!
