Pretty as a picture...
I was awakened this morning at 3 (funny how it's always an hour after the bars close) by the sound of half a dozen snowmobiles flying through the parking lot next to my apartment. While it wasn't the first snowfall of the season, the return of the speed-demons signals only one thing...Winter is here!
Still, although it wasn't a perfect sunny morning, it still was beautiful down by the river:

Hate the Canadian Winter!
I have lived ,all my life, in Canada and each year I dislike winter more and more. Winter, in my local, last for a very long time. Snow starts coming in October, sometime September, and goes on through to March, sometime April.
However, winter brings to Canada it's own kind of beauty and Raton you did a fabulous job in capturing it with you photo.

I think I was shown the spot in question last time I visited.
As terrific as the pic is, imagine your whole field of vision looking like that, not just a square on the monitor.
Similar perhaps is the Saugeen River just down the street. Great for speckies tee hee!
