    Default Lowryder x Santa Maria

Hello everyone.. This my first attempt at a grow report on here so please be patient.. I am growing the new Lowryder cross. Lowryder #2 it's dubbed. These pics to follow are 5 days after planting the beans. I started with 20 beans and soaked them overnight in Sensi-Soak. I them put them into Rapid Rooter plugs and watered with weak flowering solution. I planted 2 per growing container mostly for space. Surely some will be males and later be removed. Very happy with germination rate! Out of 20 I had 18 of them pop. Upon investigation of the 2 that didn't germ I realized that one of the Rapid- Rooter plugs did not even have a seed in it.? must of dropped one ... Anyway very happy so far with the results. The soil that I have used is a compost that I hav made. I mixed it with some pearlite and a couple handfuls of expanded clay. For lighting I am using the New Wave T-5 System. It currently has 8 T-5 bulbs cool daylight. Will switch 4 of the bulbs next week to the warm spectrum and then 2 more the following week. I have never flowered under this system? So we'll see... The closet is approx. 4x4 and the temp. stays right around 74- 86 degrees with the light on. Have had them under 18 hours light. No nute schedual as of yet other thatn the minute amount of Phos. that I've already added. Will use Advance Nutes throughout flowering. All advice offered will be greatly appreciated as I have only grown long season plants before.. Take care all.... Will post more photo's next week..

    HI Seedsamillion,

I am very happy about this thread! I look forward to watching this one grow .
Dude you are gonna have some nice plants there. I hope you give us a smoke report also when they are done!

As far as the pics I think they are fine like that. That way we can see the pics up close. ME personally I hate small pics. hard to see with my high eyes

Default Great topic,,my friend bred Masterlow to Grapetreat.

Can't wait to watch this progress.I think theres lots of room to improve the autoflowering trait. He just started Afghani x Millinium x Lr also.So I can tell him kinda what to look for,,Thanks again and good luck.Let me go on a limb here and say that soil that has enough Perlite drains well and doesn't retain as much water which could result in dampening off. What is your proposed lighting schedule?

i tried moving the light away and in 2 days my babies almost doubled in height. in addition to moving the light from 3inches to about 8 inches i places a piece of paper over them that was strung up to allow light but casue shade. Try it and let us know if it works.

I would'nt, lowryder isn't a strain you want to stretch. The T5's are beauty eh!

Oh wow, only 13 days?? the reason i think you should stretch them is because it will substantialy increase your yield and (if you have the height) it will allow more plant material to absorb light and the plant will grow healthier.

I've never used T5 but i hear they are one of the best floros but what makes them soo good? your plants look imensly nicer than mine and i have some that are older than that :-(. Some info on T5's would be appreciated. How many watts are you using and how big is the fixture?
    Thanks -BL

Tranplanted 4 today. Also pulled 3 males. Out of 20 beans 18 germinated one on closer inspection was lost. 3 were males. And I have 15 little girls.Started bloom nutes today. Week one flower using Open Seasme, Week Two using Beasty Bloom, Week three Cha Ching (all organic based) also using Sweet and Top Max. Week 4-finish molasses flush.

what is a molasses flush? i have heard about it but its never been explained to me. The plants look amazing, they are getting huge? are the great results you are having from the T-5's? or am i just geting poor results from cfl? Keep it going and i cant wait to see these ladies in full bloom!

hey all!!! ended up with 10 females.. left 8 in the grow room and put two of the best females with the males to seed. Any guesses to how many seeds I'll get? Closest guess gets 10... Also has anyone used Beasty bloomz, Open Sesame, or Cha Ching? Will have to say again that these Lowryder#2 are alot more stinky than the original... ..

what are the 3 items you listed? fertilizers? some pics of the females would help with my guesses on the seeds. hope all goes well, my first grow of ML/PS/AM are going to be for seeds so ill be interested in knowing how long you let them grow for and all that good stuff that comes with seed production.
