Default Outdoor Grow. (Need some advice)

    Aloha!
I am putting in motion to start and Outdoor grow, The space im using is As big as i want it to be im gonna start about 15 plants i dont really want to use a water pump because carrying that much water isnt really an option. im hoping the rainfall will be enough considering its the wetest spot in the world here. im kinda afraid of to much water. Is their a good soil mixture that i could possibly use that would be ideal for an outside grow? That i can find easy, ordering is kinda hard.
If there is any advice or information that u can give me that would be great

    Mahalo.

if your concerned about too much water i be sure and mix my soil with vermiculite to assure proper drainage from your plants. i would also avoid low lying areas as they tend to hold water longer...micah

You will definitily want to consider the wet factors when you buy your soil. If it's too wet, watch for soils that store or hold water in them. As Micha said, perlite and vermiculite sound like they will be a must to help with drainage. Depending on how often it rains and weather factors such as humidity, it's hard to give you a direct answer. Could you elaborate a bit more?

You may also dig your holes bigger and deeper and put some sand and/or gravel at the bottom than some soil and your plant soil. Do you have a spot with a slight slope to it ?

i Might be growing theses plants near the ocean not right next to it but maybe 1/2 a mile away will the Salt water Breeze be harmful for the plants. will the dry up quicker? or will it be ok?

vermiculite to assure proper drainage -quote

Not true- vermiculite holds alot of moisture. If your worried about excess water, use alot(30-50%) perlite in your soil mix. This will not only allow for drainage, but keeps the soil from compacting, allowing for easy root growth, hence healthier plants. Peace

    Grassmaster has the perlite info!

I would also go for a sativa because they seem to be much more mold resistant.

I think I would use small lava rocks mixed in. I think you might find some in your area....lol.

You need a plant that can take the wetness. It must rain almost every day where you live. I would also assume that the temps rarely go below 60F. That is a serious recipe for fungus and mold.
