Anyone ever try the strains from these guys? They have the Willie Nelson strain at Dr.Chronic.com.. along with a few of their other heavy hitting Cannabis Cup winners, Morning Glory, Sweet Tooth, ect ect..

the Willie Nelson I got from Barney's, via Growshop Alien, was garbage ... although I've been growing marijuana for over 40 years, I could only get ONE of ten seeds to germinate ... also, the one grown plant didn't really look like other photos I've seen of Willie Nelson, and definitely isn't 'special' ... also, instead of the seeds being in an un-opened breeder's package, they were in a little scotch-taped vial, with a 'piece of the corner, of the original label' included ... wtf ?? ... repeated, polite e-mails to Growshop Alien, Barney's, and Reeferman went unanswered, except, after a few months, an explanation from Growshop Alien that "Barney's doesn't stand behind his products, so there's really nothing we can do about it" ... well, they still sell his crap, and take the money ... think I'll ever buy again from Reeferman, Barney's, or Growshop Alien ?? ... think again

On other sites I have herd Reeferman complaining because Barney's takes his strains and makes F2s and sells them as their own.... So I wouldn't put the blame on him....

I wouldn't doubt that a bit, that's why I feel Reeferman had an obligation to answer my e-mails regarding the problem ... Reeferman's gear is pretty much hermied-out unstable garbage, anyway ... proves, if you spend enough money, you can win a Cup, too

i think reef's strains are good, if your talking about unstability its probably an f1 cross as he use's alot of landrace strains so theres gunna be alot of pheno types and if you want you could take them to f8 to stabalize them but you can look up if its an f1 cross,
if your sore about him not contacting you he does alot of traveling and i suggest you post on the forum and yes barney makes f2s or f3s of his strains w/o permission barney got the cup from reefs g13xhaze thats why reef split w/ barney and barney still uses old beans of his cbi, g13xhaze, and i think theres a couple more, but if you dont get a reply maybe he's not at a computer or maybe its been answered in threads already he answers questions repeadidly and doesnt like to respond a hundred times to the same questions and he is a TY board supporter, if you have problems with reefs gear he has someone on his site that will help you out the persons name is friendofreeferman and goes well out of there way and helps alot of people so if you dont get a response send another one maybe it got lost in the shuffle...but i dont see how you can blame reef for barney's poor choice of selections or breeding techniques? as for hermies his biggest issue was when visc gave him a bunch of seeds that he was giving away as bonus packs they turned out to be mostly hermie ending there relasionship, and working with landrace genetics sometimes you will come across some hermies because of there genetic span its a survival trait...you can stabalize them if you want to cube them or select a few fathers for your choice mother and try a couple different dads to see which dad has the best children...jmho....peace

I have a thread in the Seed Bank Opinions section IMHO there seeds are rubbish poor germination & poor F to M ratios. I emailed them as suggested by Marco a couple of months back & I am still waiting on a reply.

Personaly I wouldn't buy anything from them.

How do I have a obigation to answer for a company that ripped off my genetics you purchased them from a coffee shop not a breeder what can i say barneys sold you crappy seeds , our crappy seeds just won the medical MJ cup for my partners medical mj .ca and took 3rd in seed comapany indica .

ive had really bad results from barneys farm i tryied a 10 pack of there lsd with just 2 out of 10 sprouting & i got a freebie flower power there new auto which did not even germinate.

most seed banks if you have any problems will try to re-emberse you but barneys farm you dont even get a reply.i like others have learned the hard way by buying the top strain,s that had won cannabis cups but i see now that its all hype to sell there seeds now i like to get my stock seeds from genuine medical seed breeders like "mr magoo" or "oga seeds".at least thes guys are in it to get the best medical strains available to us & not in it for just the cash.

if anyone has a copy of issue 23 of ty check out the story on counterfeit seeds it very informative.it may say barneys farm on the label but more than likely its not barneys farm seeds that you get.like everything there are rip off,s of seeds now entering the market so if your buying from a seed bank it a risk you take.

We'll see. Just purchased 4 BF strains- reddragon,reddiesel,redcherryberry and g13haze. Will start seeds after current grow ends in Nov. Current grow is SSH and Medman from mrnice and some lemonsk thrown in at almost 6 weeks 12/12. If they are nearly as good as i've seen posted BF strains are just fine.
As far as Alien grow shop, stopped using them several years back due to poor customer service in response to poor germination. Seems to be a theme there in terms of how do they hold the seed stock and how old is it and how well does it germinate? And for sure in terms of the customer service. They were not nice at all. Use hempdepot, attitude and seedboutique. Almost forgot, single seed centre is cool too.
