I have read the rules...

This year I want to be NICE as I am regularly naughty. I have a mild traumatic brain injury and as such am prone to incredibly labile emotions. I also have very little impulse control so once these emotions are in play it is not likely that I will be hiding them from anyone. This makes for a naughty girl most of the year, lots of appolgies, frequent misunderstandings and very few friends that can deal or understand truly what I deal with or go through.

I would give all I have to be able to control myself and be nicer to everyone...even those that havent earned or deserved it from me. The world only becomes nicer through what we do and the effect that we have on others can impact for days.

Smile and the world smiles with you they say.... be angry and the world avoids you like they were told in Desiderata.....Angry people need care and understanding as it is usually frustration or fear that makes people react with rage. In a world with more emotional tools for us all....I would like to be NICER every day than I am able.

I would rather be nice. What is the point of being greedy and not sharing? Where does it really get you in the end? No friends and a lonesome, crappy holiday. Plus it feels good, which is a win win situation. Here's to wishing everyone on the TY boards a happy holidays!

I gave this the thought that a question of this magnitude warrants. and I am sure that "naughty" is the way to go. Chicks have always liked the "bad" guy. Always being nice means that pre-exemption card I would not have toked. Always being nice also means, no premarital sex, no exessive drinking, no lying(ever), no, no, no.
I couldn't stand it, life lived as always nice, really leaves out a lot of the things that I find way too enjoyable to give up. Most of which I can't discuss here for fear you may think less of me, or God forbid consider me not "nice" So in the spirit of not being nice, I leave you all with one word, from the heart of my bottom, Bahumbug.

I have read the rules!

I just couldn't see why I should change this year, I really like whom I've become. After all when company arrives for the holidays, why would it be such a shame to put catnip inside a sleeping bag? It is the holidays! Cats deserve to be festive. Perhaps while getting up in the middle of the night why shouldn't I turn up his heat dial on his side of the bed! It is the holiday for merriment. For goodness sake does cheese always have to be wrapped in those darn plastic sheets? Slices should be included in the lunch sandwiches! Perhaps the grit between the teeth ... then again the ladies at the luncheon! Putting the cross country skis next to the heater just for a few minutes....would that melt wax? Perhaps just an extra dab on the bottom of the toboggan would indeed make it fly...uphill.
With Christmas just around the corner I haven't really decided to be naughty or nice. I will decide to be myself and give all the hugs and kisses I can. I will take a long peaceful walk on Christmas Eve and be Myself with the twinkling in the eye...

I have read the rules and try to follow em.

Well. I am a busy lady. I look after my disabled mother, my two boys and wonderful husband, I help two disabled friends and am disabled myself! There is just always things to be done and others to consider.

For this Christmas for just one day I want to be totally naughty! I want to drink the last of the milk and put the empty bag back into the fridge, I want to leave my dinner dishes where ever I ate, I want to selfishly think of myself first and have a bath when everyone else in the house needs something too, I want to medicate whenever I NEED to not just when I can, I want to have others bring me things so I can rest my poor cracked feet, I want to go just one step further and play the odd practical (though weak as I dont want to be TOO naughty) joke on my boys to remind them that they have it good and they need to laugh at themselves and I want to exceed the speed limit (in good weather and dry roads and no kids conditions) on the way to an appointment just to save three minutes, I want to drive with the sunroof open when it is 30 below just for the stares and lastly.....I want to do things that I am NOT going to write about here in order to comply with the rules (since I DID read them) *giggle*

Nice is the game. Nice I shall be. On this little island I live on, the drunks are all over.
I want to be the person that is Nice to them all the time. When they walk past; Always saying "hi" always being able to talk when they can stand up straight. I wanna have those discussion that lead to sober living that make them think Booze is not the way.
I want to tell them Look vape this and see how productive in this community you can be. See your family and always have time for them instead of being sloppy drunk. I wanna help in the boys and girls club to show them what a Truthfully nice person can do. How they can change the world just by being NICE.
