Bongs

Never had one, never used one. They look pretty cool though. Just wondering what some of the qualities that should be looked for, what are the differences (dry/wet/ice) I have a water pipe (not a bong). I like the look of the long (18-24") tube (glass) with the big hole, not into hoses so much.
Does anyone here smoke with one and how does it copmpare to other forms of smoking or vaping.

hey Max, imho a bong is a weapon that all med users should have in their arsenal,
for one thing, a big thick bong hit can help if you are experiencing strain tolerance, by super charging a bigger dose in a shorter time period.
allso it is a good idea to at least supplement your smoking with a bong, because in the long run, the water filtration will save your lungs, and even if that is only a small bit, it still adds up in time.
i would recommend a bong with an ice catcher, somewhere between 6 and 28 inches,
i like one that i can sit on my lap from a sitting position in my chair, so that i can comfortably hit and light it without contorting my neck too much, either to hit it, or to look down to see what im lighting in the bowl. allso one that can easily be adapted with a down tube that fits a hose, for a whip stlye vaporizer, is even more versitile.

oh one more tip, that takes me back to my first bong hits,
since this will be your first experience with bongs,
dont let anyone talk you into drinking the used bong water !
