Default Replacement bags with the solid valve set

    Hello,

When I bought my volcano, it came with the sold valve set which included some replacement bags too that I could make. The instructions with the replacement bag plastic shows you how to make the bag and also says that I should have some "stripes" included to be able to close one end of the balloon up.

These stripes NEVER were included with my solid valve set, only replacement balloons and a metal stripe that was included with the pre made balloon.

Did anyone actually get additional stripes to tie close one end of the balloon with their solid valve set, or did the instructions make a mistake?

I imagine any one of those twisty things you can get at the grocery store could be used to close end of the balloon shut. What do you guys use?

Try tying the very end into a knot. That is what I have done with adjustable sized bags for my cano. Hope this helps and best of luck! Take care and be well.....

    Thumbs up

I am with Buffalo Bill, tie a knot in the end of your bag , I have for a while and it is way easier and never comes undone.

My friend's 'cano had the bags that aren't pre-cut, but are made specifically for the Volcano and the bags had a strip of "plastic" or whatever material the bags are made of that I believe was wrapped in with the roll of bag-making material and then she just cut off what she needed to seal the bag. Because the ties are from the same material, it seems to allow for a nice, clean, air-tight seal, but lacking that, sounds reasonable (from what I've seen) to just consider tying the ends of the bags themselves too. But, I know from her bags that there was indeed a strip included that needed to be cut to fit whatever a person needed it for.
