Bubba Kush smoke report

Got a sample of this from cannabis collector and his crew at the las vegas nugs/jugs cup. It is classic bubba kush in smell and effects, has a strong coffee odor to it, not like fresh coffee but more like a dirty coffee filter. It has that stale rank coffee smell to it, with a strong musky undertone with light hints of fuel, similiar to diesel.

The texture of the bud was good and dense, you can break it up with one hand easily but there are some tough calyx in there that would be better suited for a grinder. Not a lot of leaf on it and the calyx to leaf ratio was on the better side. Trichome content was above average, lots of crystal on the calyx and little on the leaves.

Strong stone to this one, one hit and you can still function but after a few more bowls it can put you to sleep. Some confuse the lack of body in this and heavy head with an overpowering sativa, but if you try enough of it or smoke it fast enough you can see how strong it really is. The indica aspect of it is really overpowering, you can wakeup still stoned and very groggy if you arent careful.

I like the flavor of this as well, it has a good smell to it and the taste backs it up well, there is a slight earthy component to the taste, and it loses some of the spice it had in the smell, but the musk and the coffee are bumped up a good bit for a unique taste, similar to OG but with a twist.

Overall very good gear and something I would recommend for nightly smoke, it takes about 30-40 minutes for it to fully kick in so it is best suited as a nightcap.

Comment: good solid buds, some had a bit more leaf than I am used to, but it was all resin under those leaves once removed, average to good calyx to leaf ratio

Comment: Good coating of frost inside and out of the bud, some of the fan leaves attached didnt have frost on them, but all of the internal calyx and stems had a furry light frost all over it. Smaller sized heads on this one, but in great concentration.

Comment: Good solid taste, a little bit different than the OG, has a more musky coffee aftertaste. Could get tired of this flavor after a while as you do with most kushes.

comment: knocks ya out cold with more than two bowls of it, solid strong indica feeling that lacks a heavy body until late in the effects.
