I was sadden to learn of your passing,I remember our last phone conversation.Swamp you will always be remembered for your kindness your loyalty your drive to fight for someone who couldn't. Your Pride in getting your card and seeing MJ passed in MI. the laughter and tears we shared.
I have so many memories I am a lucky one to have known you all theses years

I have one regret of not calling you these past weeks. But I never wanted to say goodbye I will always celebrate our B-days I will get older and you won't. Have comfort in knowing we are here for J and he has gain a bigger family because of you and your compassion.

but there was a draw, a draw of kindness that overwhelmed the body and soul as you dove deeper into the relationship. a man that would do to much at times for the wrong folks but whos not been there. it was the beautiful soul behind the words for me that drew me in. ive never seen a pic or heard a voice of this beautiful being, but i feel like ive lost a friend and a close beautiful inspiration.
to the family you are the luckiest to have been around this man and see first hand his works of life- each and everyone of you carry on the legacy of Swampy
in your own little way in your own time youll see it also. god bless each and everyone of you. remember he still loves you.

Very sad that I just found out about this, as I was reading the current HT regarding the first annual "Caregivercup" here in Michigan, they had mentioned on the bottm of the literature that the event is in memory of Tom "Swampy" Higgins. I'm so sorry to the Higgins family that just found out about this. Swampy was a great man, and if it werent for him, I wouldnt have found a doctor that would listen to me, and provide me with a MJ referral to get my MJ card. Obviously my reluntance to visit this site, is the sole reason I didnt find out earlier about this. My condolences.

im in south africa and i was affected by your fathers heart. he touched my life too through his deeds of kindness. he really was a great man. a beautiful spirit. he loved his family, spoke fondly of you and delighted in your visits home. and he was endlessly and passionately dedicated to his work of selflessness. he really believed in the importance of his contribution. he found his meaning.

to remember him really, is to pass on the many gifts he brought into our lives. to learn from his example and be brave hearts ourselves.

Hi china kid , I am a friend of your father, and I'm greatly saddened about the news of your fathers passing. My heart is very heavy, as is the tears that flow down from eyes. SWAMPY died on my birthday, and I just found out the other day from my bro EJ. I dont need to tell how great of a human being swappy is ,let me go backin time here. I got to know your father about three years ago, here at TY.I was going through some tuff times and through some help from a member named (pink) she introduced me to your father. And from the start I knew that tom was a kind ,compassionate, intellagent, caring individual. We had many conversations about growing , and his experiences with the spirit world,traditional values and practices.he even told me of his visits from the spirit world , when he would be out in the places where he liked to grow.And of course of his family and how much he loved you all.I could speak more but you already know . P.S. china kid you sound like your dad as how you speak. you keep him alive within your heart,forever. with love from les.
