I just went with a PH meter that had temp and light measurements built into it. Not AS good, but it was $15 shipped and im cheap.

Closeout from the Discovery Store. You can find them only. Its the PhD Plant Ph system. It comes with two probes. One is the Ph/light meter and the other is a leave-in hydrometer that will beep when your girls need water, just leave it in your center plant and let it tell you when to water. The only problem is that the Ph meter is in symbol, not number but i use the readings for "chives" which has about the same ph and light requirements.
Even those without purpose can find purpose in not having a purpose
