Was just chatting with Lequebecfume, aka Mr. Mac, the apple fan. And he just sent me a message "reboot brb".
I haven't had to reboot my XP box except to install security patches or uninstall DLLs in over a year.![]()

Hack-tually Microsoft products suffers from a problem, the longer its been up, the crankier and more unstable it becomes. Most I have had out of an XP install (back when I was running peer to peer servers and web servers) was 135 hours straight before I had to reboot the machine because it became completely unresponsive.
I laughed that hard, I burst my colostomy bag...
As for change, you got more chance of sweeping diahorea up hill with garden fork.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attracive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, doobie in one hand, favorite beverage in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming...Wow- What a ride!
No doubt... XP was a stable os. The last true one microsoft produced. I operated it until I needed the upgrade for workthat and linux on my pc dual boot. Mac OSX Snow Leapoard on my notebook though it really is nice, no lies.

I remember formatting XP every month, because it would start doing unexplainable things. This was ALWAYS faster then troubleshooting and figuring out the problem.
I remember running rambooster on XP 15 times before I ran any resource intensive app.
It boosted the free ram from %50 to around %88
calling xp a stable OS is like calling a 100yearold wheelbarrow that doesnt break a good wheelbarrow.
unix/linux is the only true stable OS.
hahaha i have used my apple for the last 3 years no issue. (well no issue that wasnt easily resolved and covered under warranty)
