i started playing guitar in about 1967, did'nt really get serious about it until about 10 years later, but did practically nothing but play guitar for many years.
about 10 years ago i had to quit due to chronic acute lateral tendonitis. i can play for moments at a time but any kind of duration playing leads to severe pain. giving up guitar was one of the hardest decisions i've ever had to make, a huge chunk of my life dissappeared.

I can't play any instruments but I make a great band critic and all-round groupie.

I expect Wilco to call me anyday to extol their creativity and tell them that fylthevoyd doesn't like them and that when they come to London Ont, they shouldn't play Centennial Hall because we call it the Toilet Bowl.

I played sax growing up from 1st grade to graduation. I also picked up Bass about 6 years ago, learned on my own and have picked up finger picking on a guitar. That is the best feeling while smoking, getting into to the jam session and enjoing good company. Got to love music.

Ya i know what you mean Diskrete. My buddies always taught me something new on a guitar when we were chillin after a session. The funny part is I can't play guitar right though cause I'm left handed and they are all right handed so they taught me backwards, or tried to get me to play right handed, which I kinda figured out. So if and when i get my own guitar I'm gonna have to learn again on a properly stringed guitar for lefties.
And still I see no changes. Can't a brother get a little peace?
