MARIJUANA SEIZED



CORNWALL -- The OPP seized more than six kilograms of marijuana Monday when an officer pulled over two men.

The stop occurred late afternoon on Highway 401 in South Dundas Township.

An investigation found 6,300 grams of marijuana in the vehicle.

Steve Anderson, 29, of Saint Gerard, Que. and 22-year-old Patrick Chartier of Valcourt, Ont. were charged with possessional for the purpose. They are both due in court on Apr. 6 in Morrisburg.
