Maybe if this were properly pursued the shrinks could reduce the amount of SSRI's they prescribe that turn people into zombies. If, as they say, our brains need serotonin boosts, then this is even more believable and would provide much better relief from emotional as well as, physical pain.

The A.M.A. wrote a letter of complaint about the pot laws when they were first being passed, saying they were taking away one of their greatest medicines. Hopefully we'll someday soon look back on the last 90+ years as barbarous when cannabis becomes a normalized, therapeutic substance. The fact that fox news, conservative trumpeters extrodinaire, are publishing a story like this could be a sign that's it'll be sooner rather then later.

Addendum: Advocates have been living in the mass delusion that legalization and sanity is "just around" the corner for almost 40 years now. So, we're either in a wicked smart maze, or we've turned so many corners we're almost standing still. Either way we gotta keep on shouting the message from the hilltops to the masses; "we will not kill you, we will not rape you, we will not steal from you, we will not eat your babies, we may eat your munchies and laugh with you, that's about it though"
