Question how much air per hour??.

hi all my grow area is 1.4m x 1.4m x 1.9m so that,s 3.724 m3 but i want to know how to calculate how much air is in that area per hr do i x 3.724 by 60 mins??which is 223.44 m3 but im sure i read somewhere that i x the area(3.724 m3 x 20 = 74.48m3)..hope this makes sense my fan & filter will expel 275 m3 per hr is that a big enough extraction set up for my grow space..

    much thanx in advance..

I actually run my intake with my exhaust, when the room temps reach 80+ my exhaust is triggered by a temp controled switch,so as the exhaust is pulling the hot air out(exhaust should be mounted at ceiling level)the intake is pulling cool air back into your room, this seems to be the best situation for my room, can't wait to check out the new closet

    right i got.

    1 x 600 w maxibrite mk 3 ballast with a duch barn reflector
1 x 125mm extractor fan with a prima klima carbon filter & all relevant conectors.
1 x 1.2 x 1.2 x 2.0m buddha grow tent but ive hit a problem the place where i want to put it is 195 cm high & the tent is 200cm so im 5cm off i thought it was 210cm but i was wrong.so ive had my mate up & weve made a wooder frame 1.4 x 1.4 x 1.9m covered with double thick black & white reflective sheeting..

ive put all my new equipment in my newly rebuilt grow area so i just need to re-pot from 3l-11l pots then ill start to flower on monday..im a bit gutted because i wanted a tent but i can always put the tent up in a different room with my old light or i might add my old light to my new room so ill be flowering under 2 x 600 w hps lights.

just be sure to get a temp control switch for your exhaust and intake, exhaust high to the ceiling as you can,and intake from somewhere outside that is low to ground level, you want the coolest air you can draw in,I will post some pics of mine give you an idea, great job on the purchases

the tracks come in 6 foot and 3 foot add ons,you would only need a 6 foot that would cover your grow area,I would also consider a larger hood/reflector,I went with hydrofarms 48" round, covers my entire room much better,my room is 6'x9'x7' tall,to figure how fast your intake can exchange the air in your room, just multiply, wxlxh=volumn, soin my case,6x9=54x7=378 cubic feet,so you want an exhaust that will exhaust your room as quick as possible, anything aroung 400-500 cfm,in reality this should exchange the air in your room in less then 1 min, haha,I have a 450cfm ho,for both my intake and my exhaust, hope that helps, peace bro

what ive done is ive mounted a 125 mm rvk fan on my ceiling with a 125 mm prima klima filter that should eliminate any odour i have & is expelling 250m3 per hour..ive now put a 100 mm rvk fan as close to the floor as possible which is drawing cold air from out side my grow area in at a rate of 175m3 per hour..ive now got a constant flow of fresh air passing through my grow room where as before ive only had air being taken out..ive also got 2 ocilating fans blowing across the canopy which is always good to have..
