"Maryland on Tuesday became the 16th state to remove criminal penalties for the medical use of marijuana when Gov. Martin O'Malley signed SB 308 as promised. The bill allows seriously ill patients to avoid prosecution when charged with marijuana possession, and also creates a commission to study medical marijuana laws and make recommendations on how Maryland can institute such a program."

Nice to see Maryland finally made it.I`m trying to find a way for a friend in Virginia to get some med mj for his migraines.Seems Maryland is next door to him,and would be fairly easy to get there.
Just wondering if anyone can offer any advice as to how to get a med card in Maryland.A sympathetic doctor with an open mind would be nice also.Anyways,just trying to help a buddy out.I welcome any and all advice you kind folks may be able to offer.It`s tough in the states for med mj users.Thanks people.
