    Cool Painting my kitchen ceiling.......aahhhhh

I finally have something to do.My landlord dropped off 2 gallons of paint. One can is white ceiling paint.Thank God...you can still see yellow spray marks from my "skunk in the kitchen" episode...not any more.I fired up a big bowl of hydro and have somehow found enough intestinal fortitude to get first coat on ceiling almost done.Posting between hits and strokes.I have a nice roller but still Im white spots from head to toe.I am happy to be able to improve albeit cosmetcially my house. We have been here 6 yrs and this is first touch up thats been done.I hope landlord takes of $$$ for the labour.I sure as heck aint killin myself for free, even though I am happy to do it to make my surroundings more asteticlly appealling.Peace and have a very nice day..BigD

Hopefully your landlord will reimburse you; most will for any improvements. And if he dropped off the paint, to me that is a sign he's willing to compensate.

He's a pretty good egg-let me slide for 3500USD in back rent. When I got my SSDI lump sum I paid him back...cash! So he knows where I am at! He runs a huge dairy farm and is one of the lucky farmers in that he has mega $$$ and a company found large pockets of natural gas here.My heat will be free, hopefully by winter next year! Yee Haw! Peace BigD

I would love to repaint my bedroom like the one I had when I was a child. It was a beautiful lavendar color.

    I love purple.

The folks who live down the road from me used to have their house painted lavender and trimmed out in dark purple.

It's always nice to spruce up your surroundings. It seems to awaken my spirit!
