Kushberry, Free Leonard, and?

As of now I have begun to sprout 3 kushberry seeds, these and a few others was gifted to me by a generous member here at TY, thanks GPS! Now of course I have a Free Leonard clone from my other grow, and I am going to send my last BS clone from the first grow into flower. The FL clone Is about a couple weeks away from going to flower, been doing alittle bending and pinching on it.

This log will run side by side with my other log until that is completed.

Now I may add a Bubba Kush pre 98 clone into this mix a bit later down the road or save it for the next log. A good friend offered me a cut, but it may be a bit till I get it.

Just a heads up, updates may be a bit slow, have had a ton of things going on as the winter is approaching

Just a quick update, All 3 Kushberry seeds have sprouted. Soon as I send my Amnesia Haze into flower from my other grow, I will repot the FL clone and give it about a week to adjust to it's new pot and will send that one into flower as well.

I will try to get some pics up in the next couple days... Still have a lot on my plate at the moment, but really need to get some pics up!

The kushberry sprouts are fairing well, I may have damaged a root when potting one of the sprouts, but it's hanging in there.

Here is the FL already got a FIM job and repotted. Little more LST and some veg and she will hit the bloom room say in a week or 2.



I have decided to cull the BS as the clone I kept for a mum detioriated pretty bad. I am just waiting for a time when my friend can drop off the Bubba Pre 98 cutting, once I get it and root it I will add it to this log.

Interesting if you get the pre 98 bubba, might be good to x with any dads you find.
I found a dark quick to purple kushberry fem that is pretty damn close to the bubba taste wise n growth is like an x between bubba n gdp with the purpling but kinda tight lower yeilding.
Did grow a little more weight wise though, I got some beans made with some bubba I had outside, but not a chance in hell to run em any time soon with all the other projects going yet but some day.

Actually I think that will be next Planning on sprouting some more beans in a week or 2. I need to put some planning into my next grow

But I am still waiting for the bubba pre 98 clone. My friend is in rough shape, so I don't rush him. His pre 98 BHO was stellar!! So that might just make it on the next grow.

Well so far the KB's are now being fed very light with bio thrive 4-3-3.



The FL has been moved to the bloom room 2 days ago, it will get another feeding at full strength within the next few days, and possibly another in a week or so then will go to bio thrive 2-4-4.



I am still wating on the Pre 98 Bubba cut, which we have a tentative plan for him to drop them off today. He is giving me 2 clones, so instantly one is going into bonzai like my FL mom. My FL mom is half the size of the FL I just put in flower and I took the clones at the same time. I feed her very light, keep her pruned down, she will be ready for some cuttings here in a couple weeks.

I can't wait to see what the Kushberry can do. I have smoked the Bubba pre 98 before and had my friends BHO which put me into a couch coma, lol.

Moving along, lets get this update plugged in here. I haven't been able to meet up with my buddy to cut the pre 98 cuts, but his mom will be ready for cuts again eventually. So instead I will be adding GPS's Strawberry x AK 47 to this log. They have been sprouted now for about a week.

Just a update

Again my FL is giving me some troubles, been keeping the ph down to 6 and feeding at a rate of 5ml (1tsp) to a gallon of water, I am no longer feeding grow nutes. Going to give a plain watering then onto bloom nutes. Getting clorotic leaves and tip burning on the lower leaves.

with as much sativa influence your F.L seems to have it prolly needs lower doses of nutes

I was kinda wondering that myself. It has already had it's last round of grow nutes, so I will start out light with the bloom nutes and see what happens. I really don't want this one to deteriorate like my last lady. But I attributed her poor performance on some wild PH swings. At last flush, the runoff was staying around 6-6.3 roughly.

My water is 350 tds, so,,, when I drop the ph below 6.5,,, for some reason they (the KB and NL) didn't like it much and look alot like your FL. When I ran it up to 6.8 things smoothed out.
with a steady ph of 6.8, I'm still get'n some runoff readings at or below 6ph.?
With my cheap soil ph meter, it says soil ph at 6.8 average, testing after watering?? what gives? The high solids to start with?

TDS is one thing I am unable to monitor right now. I assume it isn't horrible using the distilled water. I had someone else that had suggested that it might be happier around 6.8 as well. They're logic was that my soil seemed to be more of a mineral soil. I'm not so sure if that would be the case though, yes I have ammended with perlite and vermiculite, but I have also have added other ammendments. I also think I will be adding in dolomite to hopefully add a bit of a buffer for my PH.

Myself I have never used a soil PH tester, I always test the runoff from flushing if I think the soil pH is suspect. I know others to have used the soil testers and they are very unreliable.

I have chopped the FL in this log to make room for some new genetics.

I also have aquired a clone of FL that came from a friends older mother plant. I believe it was originally gifted to my friend from Swampy prior to his passing. Also, I have sprouted 4 of the FL beans I made from my FL-1 male and FL-5 female. So my next grow should be interesting.
