We need ARTICLES on various subjects and we need them by the end of October.

We are also in need of HIGH RES PICS

What I would like to know is WHO WANTS TO HELP.

Hmm good question I guess in all fairness ALL CONTRIBUTORS should get T SHIRTS and a copy of the issue that they contributed too

Well you got a copy of issue # 1 so maybe pick a topic that you would personally like to read about.

TY MAGAZINE is about med users and the articles are by med users so there isn't really any bad topic. We just DON'T promote PORN or FAKE BUDS.

Maybe a story about YOURSELF and how MMJ helps you

I'm also going to start a breeding program like the one William Bloode talked about. I don't think i would be ready for this issue yet. I just received my beans to start.

Maybe it would be helpful (for those who haven't seen issue #1) to post a quick table of contents.

That would likely give folks a good idea of what's in scope for your magazine, as well as giving them some ideas for their own contributions. In addition, it would serve as a good warning not to recycle articles that have already been done.

We used to have a thread going around here called something like "best vaporizer" in which we just discussed the various vapes and their advantages/disadvantages. I know a few of our members here have a couple different vapes. I know if I were thinking about getting one I would find it helpful to have a sort of Vape "shoot-out" to see the advantages of these various vapes. my 2 cents.

one that would show a little about how TY works on the web. I know when I first started on the web I was weary of forums and such.....so my idea is how about showing some introductions, some budshots, maybe some threads from the Medical Conditions forums, I remember a good one a while back pertaining to Hep C and how medical marijuana works, along with other alternative therapies. Remember Ty is not just about marijuana....as the name emplies it is also about treating ourselves....with alternative therapies(such as milk thistle for us hepppers),eating a proper diet and also how to be self sufficient in our grows.Spirituality also seems to play an important role in many lives of Ty'ers thus the large spirituality forums. When we join here the rules state that all post and pics are the property of Ty. Why not take advantage of the large number of quality posts on this site to add to the TY magazine?

Some interesting and provoking ideas there Pete. That content would be sure to inspire more readership, I would think. Well, this man anyways, is already intrigued with reading those proposed articles.

I was blessed with the first issue at Hempfest and have read it cover to cover. It was interesting, entertaining, and educational enough that I await the next issue with some anticipation. On the downside, it could stand to be more polished & professional. Greater rallying for advertizing within would lower the consumer price. This is a quarterly release?

Hmm...maybe, if there were a thread or forum for submissions, peeps could submit, read, and/or support, the articles etc that they would like to see in the mag. Just an idea to accrue greater involvement, interest and I would guess, enhance our sense of community.

We are working on getting it ONLINE. The ONLINE version will contain some of the articles in part that way if a person is interested in reading the FULL ARTICLE they can purchase a hard copy.

Pics on TY have been DOWNSIZED so that they don't take up too much bandwidth so they are NOT SUITABLE to use.

It will be distributed QUARTARLY and issue #2 will contain more content than issue #1.

What we charge is basically not much more than what it costs to print and mail out. I believe in what we are distributing is QUALITY and believe that people WON'T mind paying the price ESPECIALLY since it's helping to keep EDUCATING the masses online.

Paying advertizers are not easy to come by and since this is a NEW PUBLICATION it will take some time before I will see the magazine paying for itself. So for issue #1 and for the next few issues it is all coming out of MY POCKET.

So I must take BABY STEPS and rely on the FINE MEMBERS of TY to help make it work.

Not too bad an idea. Kind of thought of it earlier as a possible topic... however it would be best if the reviewer/s had tried all vapes together.

If we could gather as many vapes as possible, set up a "panel" of judges and give them all a try the the article would be a bit more accurate IMO.

I like whar potheadpete said about Ty being more than just about MJ,How abot a list of ailments treated by members here at TY and how it has affected our lives for the better,how about more Hep c,MS,Cancer,and chronic pain stories MMJ has helped over manmade drugs,I have lots of pics I was going to send to potheadpete but never got around to doing it,I can send all my pics to you Marco and let you decide which ones to use or not to use,If you want a story of people useing cannabis for all kinds of reasons i know a lot and we all face jail or prison to just treat ourselves as we see fit.The non-violent offenders in whose eyes??The oppresed in the states of freedom.Or even grow tips every month,strain tips for ailments,how about todays freedom fighters?For the sick and dying?maybe once a month feature a member of the month who has shown the most compassion,maybe their story can be told annonomous if the person is afraid of exposure.and for sure the fight world wide for cannabis freedom,It is just a herb lets down play the refermadness and tell the truth.peace sincerly E.J
