Some Wong Bong Glassware
Sorry I can't add pics here, but I recently purchased a few items from Wong Bong. I ordered the wizard pipe, the mini-drop hammer pipe, an oil pipe and some glass screens. The amount I spent even got me a free pocket spoon and mini-bone pipe. ( I think a glass screen too, can't remember)
Once my package arrived, I was really excited, the wizard pipe looked great, as did the drop-hammer pipe, the two I looked forward to the most. Unfortunately, after a few tokes out of the wizard pipe and it started to build resin, it showed there was a tiny stress crack in the stem. I then inspected the other glassware and found a chip in the drop hammer!
I emailed Wong Bong, which promptly replied to return and they'd replace or fix. Since I liked the glasswork itself so well, I was hoping he'd be able to fix it, but I didn't hold any high hopes.
Low and behold, the other day my pipes are returned, both the same pipes completely fixed! I was very impressed, the wizard pipe I thought was probably fixable, but the chip in the other one I didn't. I was glad to get them both back.
On a side-note, I imagine the glass would have to be clean to fix, and I'd grunged it up a bit before sending it back. If WB's cleaning solution is what he used it did a great job!
Thanks for the good work, the wizard pipe is one of my favorites of all time!
