Hash Fluffing

I was taught by my brother long ago how to heat and rub charas to fluff it up before smoking. The methods he taught me work great for a decent size chunk but not so well for little peices of bubble hash. Rather than heat individual peices or put a bunch in a test tube and risk them sticking at the botto I've switched to a diffrent method. I put a layer of the small hash rocks on the lid of a mason jar, then place the lid on a jar. Then I place a halogen desk lamp within a few inches of the hash on the lid. I wait a few min while keeping an eye on it. If left too long it will smoke and go hard. If you leave it just long enough it will turn to a fine powder with almost no pressure. Makes for some lush hash rips!!! It's also great for powdering a bunch for lacing a joint.

in joints i prefer to roll a snake of bubble and place it in the center of the joint. i perfer to watch the bubble well you know bubble and that happens best when you just pinch off a little peice, work it around between your fingers until it is as dark as it will get (60 sec of working it), finaly squising it flat and and rolling it into a loose "taco" shape before gently placing it in a hash pipe and smoking. place so that the flat bottom of the "taco" is facing up out of the bowl. this provides a degree of structural integrety that prevents the hash form simply melting and pulling throught the bowl. works very well.

with more traditional hash tho the fluffing does help.

You rock. I'm smoking a cig with a hash snake in it as I type. I emptied most of it, put the snake in and filled it back up now I'm getting even more stoned as this is my after bowl smoke. I may need another! LOL. The snakey hash is the insane goodness I finaly scraped from my electric grinder. I got 2 grades and they both look like bomb ass charas and both taste and smoke better than the bubble. I just put 2 oz of dank nug throught the grinder so it realy built up. Now it's sparkeling clean and I'm flippin' trashed!

I love the snakey's
Back even longer then I can remember on my first vist to Amsterdam (24 years ago!)
I kade a big 'Salad' Joint.
Three different types of MJ and two different Types of hash snakes. I sat in my littel room and smoked it. I think I was the only one in the hotel who was smoking.
Anyway, when I was done, I went out for a walk, needless to say, I was back in my hotel ten minutes later.
I was way too BAKED!

BTW - Isn't Hash fluffing the process of keeping the hash hard for the next scene?
