OLA Guys (& Gals :) )
Yes Radic, Thank You for your posts! They are always SOO interesting! I look to you for guidance, and I havent felt 'lost' yet Your help here is MOST APPRICIATED! Thank You, and please dont stay away too long
To everyone else still following along, thank you for your intrest. Sorry I dont have much to update on right now as me and Dad are both out of oil, and waiting on more. We are waiting on our 'quality' oil made from the Buds, but in the mean time I will be making some oil from the trim off the plant (sugar leaves, small popcorn bottom buds, and some fan leaves too. I read on another forum of someone making oil from fan leaves and stalk that dont get you high, but works great on topical applications. This person has been able to use this oil as a massage oil (helps with his migranes if rubbed on the back of his neck and behind his ears), he also has applied it to his hand and other areas that are affected with arthritus. He claims great relief from this oil with no THC? I will give it a shot-It can't hurt! I was wondering though...
Should I use my sugar leaves and popcorn buds for 1 type of oil, and then use fan leaves and stalk for a seperate oil - OR Just make 1 oil using all of the above? I am interested in trying to treat my other Cyst, so I'm thinking I should use the oil from just sugar leaves and small buds? Do you think it would 'Dilute' the oil by using all the above material to make just 1 oil?
Happy Healing,
JointGirl

good question
there is deffinatley different levels of CBD, THC and CBN in the cystals that come from different plant parts
IMHO
the closest crystals to the nearest grow tip are the youngest and thus contain the most CBD small amounts of THC and minimal amounts of CBN
the crystals furtherest from the nearest grow tip than contains minimal amounts of CBD small amounts of THC and large amounts of CBN
so im just guessing
and there may well be
soooooooooo much more to this story
but
i tend to feel there is more CBN in the large shade leaves and less CBD
seen
maybe its the mix of high THC and CBN that produce different medicinal properities???????
and just what are these medicinal propities???????
no one really knows fe real
another consideration is
ofcourse the endocannabinoid systems responce to CBD, THC and CBN
eg
two people toking pon the same spliff may experance completely different medicinal effects because of the way the Endocannabinoid system reacts to re ballance each different persons bodly needs
pull up
if we check India
where large shade leaves are collected and proccessed into a drink called Bung
it is said to have some special medicinal propities and is often used socially and in certian sacred cerromonies
IMHO
this research is well worth persuing
the world should know
seen
but sista what most people suffering ailments want
is return to good health<---> asap
not experimenting with detailed methords of preperation and aplication
thats justa fine tuning,,, really
1 more time........Blessingz
may your return to health be swift and painless
thanx and praize for your persistance and perserverance

yes
i do seperate the high qual buds form the from the leaf
but i dont seperate the large shade leaves from the bud trim leaves
i do extracts pon all the leaf together
it would be an interesting experiment indeed
i have made hashish from strictly the large shade leaves
it was very mild and low in THC
but there is some THC in the large shade leaves
at least there is in my own home grown large shade leaf
some of my friends really loved the high CBN Hashish and said it worked very well for their healing
they were after the anti psychotic medicinal qualities mostly
i said i thort it was high CBN Hashish
i dont seperate the different quality leaf for a hash oil extraction
it would be interesting to check
does it make the high quality oil weaker????????
good question
i think it would certainly effect the quality of the oil
but what is best for the ailments you are treating???????
seperate extractions or all together????????
i dont know
even the scientists and doctors could not answer that
IMHO
healing with cannabis is strictly a personal journey
thats why some of my friends loved the high CBN hashish
and some thort is was too mild to dowit for them
in india
it would be interesting to experiment with indeed
the way i looked at this is high qual and less quanity
or
high quanity and less quality
so for cancer i would go for high qual
for a syst maybe such high a quality is over kill
i donk know
really i could be totally wrong
cannabis medicinal treatments are strictly a personal affair
what dose rate and quality works to treat my body
may not work for you
the best i can say is try and see for yourself
irey guidance

Thanks Radic,
What Im learning is that the whole cannabis treatments are Trial and Error at OUR expense. It can be a little frustrating, but a learning experience never the less. I am grateful, and feel blessed for the oppertunities I've had so far. Knowledge is Power, and I'm on a mission to learn ALL I can! Too bad I wasnt this interested in schooling- I have been studing more in the last few months, than I probally have ever done in my life! Its all worth it though! This whole idea of natural, herbal remedies has become so fasinating to me. I've known for a long time now that Marijuana has medicinal value, but I didnt realize HOW MUCH medicinal value it has. I cant wait to be able to experiment with different herbal recepies, I THINK THIS IS MY CALLING Even if its not, I'm having a great time with it right now I have came to the realization that this illegal activity we take part in daily, is NOTHING for me to feel ashamed of. I have always put on a front like I didnt care what ppl thought of me smoking MJ, but now I really mean it I worried how my Pastor, or other members at church would feel if they knew my habits. I DEF worried about my young children growing up and thinking badly of me for choosing to smoke MJ. Since begining to experiment with MJ as a teen, I have ALWAYS been able to work, go to school, and buy my own smoke. I've never got into trouble, and I have always been a very responsible person. MJ has never affected my life in a negative way. I married my stoner boyfriend, and we have been together now for 15 years, married for almost 7 of them. I just recently realized that Marijuana plays a MAJOR ROLE in my life. And NOT A NEGITIVE ROLE AT ALL! Actually the total opposite! I Smoke MJ on a daily basis, to function and preform my best. I AM A FACE OF A MEDICAL MARIJUANA USER and I WILL NEVER be ashamed of this again! I have looked at things so differently lately. Even in the way I plan on educating my children on the issue of DRUGS. I will not be ashamed of this NATURAL, SAFE,NON-TOXIC,Medicine ever again! I never realized how UNJUST it is to deny, and criminalize this Alternative to chemical pills. I now realize the Drug Dealers are the ones who are openly hooking our children, neighbors, and friends on deadly chemicals just to make a proffit. But thats OK and LEGAL? It makes no sense to me, and I will not even waste my time trying to figure it out. All of my efforts from now on will be focused on the medicinal values of MJ and How/Why/Who it can help.
Thanks again Radic for your posts and encouragement!
Happy Healings,
JointGirl

Jungle,
Thats great news. I was wondering if the treatment was doing anything good for ya. I'm glad to hear your seeing some improvements with it. I too have some material for the oil, but have not decided on the solvent or method of extraction yet. I guess I need to quit wasting all this time deciding I am using trim my 1st time around, some sugar leaves and small stragly bottom popcorn buds. We'll see what happens? Either way, keep us informed in your journey!

Sorry for the LATE responce
Hi Sandy,
Sorry for the late responce, I just seen this question. Incase you havent found your answer yet... 2 Oz. of good herb will only give you Aprox. 4-6 grams of oil. A full treatment is actually recomended to be 60 grams of oil. You could always try this treatment in small amounts and make it as you get it, but 2 Oz.s will only be the begining of this treatment.
Hope this helped, and again...Sorry for the delay!
Happy Healings,
JointGirl

Hello all
Just went thru all these posts and I am really quite impressed, its nice to see all this information available for all to check out. Sandy, it would seem that blood pressure and blood sugar levels aren't really affected by the use of cannabis oil, if reading these posts is any indicator.
JointGirl, great job. Try not to get discouraged. I have been eating the oil for about 2 years now, not every day, but every second or third day. I have also been off all pharmaceutical now for about 18 months. I just recently wound up in the hospital with a severe Chron's flare up. There are 2 possibilities; the first being the fact that i just quit caffeine (coffee and pop) and the second being the possibility that I've been getting worse ever since I stopped my meds 18 months ago. Well, I'm betting on the caffeine as the culprit. I opted out of the pain meds, and used the oil for pain management, with great sucess. I am back on prednisone and am dosing down now. If I dont get worse it was the caffeine or just a flare up, if I do get worse, it's back on the immunosupressants again. Wheeeeee.
I have watched Cannabis oil cure warts, moles, pancreatic cancer, lung cancer, and skin cancer. I have also watched it remove scars, and cold sores. It is everything you think it is; we are however; everyday bombarded by chemicals and radiation from every direction. Like a few other folks have said, you have to also try and deal with some of those external factors yourself. Alcohol, sugars, starches, power lines, caffeine, the sun. Hahaha. Maybe we need to hide in a hole. Regardless, stay the course, I'm sure that things will work out. Good luck, and I'll be keepin an eye on things.
Peace
Max

Max,
Thanks for the update and I do hope your health gets better. Thanks for the encouraging words, they help to make you not think your starting to go crazy I try to not let every negitive thing that has happened in this jorney over shadow the wonderful things that we did get to experience. Any down sets we faced, only make us push that much harder. I get so encouraged when I read success stories of people on this oil. It is still nice to know others are finding much relief from it! I'm following along with some other 'friends' as they try to heal themselves. They are mostly facing life threatening issues, and this oil is what they have turned to. It is interesting to see how others are responding and what it is or is not helping to cure. It does make me soooo sad though that we have to experiment on ourselves and try to fix our health being led by basically 'The Blind'. It is all trial and error right now UNFORTUNATLY FOR US AND OTHER PATIENTS! It makes me realize even more the importance of propper testing, extracting, dosage, on this valuable medicine. It's really sad of the lack of scientific evidence? There are SOOO many people this could help, with SOOO much less harm to thier bodies than all the chemicals were allowed to take each day? It makes me sad to realize what this country stands for? $$$$$ AND IT'S NOT FOR THE PEOPLE, I CAN CLEARLY SEE THAT! Again, thanks for checking in, and updating this thread...I REALLY APPRICIATE HEARING FROM OTHERS WHO HAVE TRIED THIS OIL! Sorry If I went off ranting
Happy Healings,
JointGirl
